They have created a concept called E-Vul – a model car of the future, equipped with powerful electric motor. To reduce the power consumption will be used the magnetic coupling. The company Mercedes Benz talked about quite a serious plan for the integration of speech recognition system with the new Apple Siri software Drive Kit Plus for automotive on-board computers, which, in turn, will manage the new models of cars that the auto giant. Now on-board computers will initially support the Apple iPhone 4S and built it Siri.

With Siri you will be able to

  • you can manage a library iTunes
  • various services such as calendar and task list to call people from your address-book
  • and send them SMS  as well as voice command

Mercedes says that the first such integration will be carried out in the new cars of class A, but later Siri will work with onboard computers machines Class B, C and E.

This Tricycle Sculpture by Sergio Garcia. I wonder how to ride this amusing tricycle. I think, I cant ride it or if I try that will break my spine. It is currently on display at 941 Geary in San Francisco as a part of “From the Street to the Cube” show which runs through August 28th.

Motors and Segway teamed up to develop a series of decidedly uncool-looking Electric Networked Vehicles,  EN-V, all based on the Segway’s balanced platform with a carbon-fiber shell.

They have a range of 25 miles and a top speed of 25 mph, They’ll use GPS, distance-sensing technology and vehicle-to-vehicle communications to ease congestion and reduce the risk of accidents.

The EN-Vs are just concepts, its designed for Shanghai traffic, and the vehicles will be shown off at Shanghai’s World Expo in May.
