Cons: Battery life can stand only up to 5 hrs with 300 hrs standby time. Video playback can only last up to 10 hrs. It only has an 8GB internal memory with no option for expansion. The camera measures only 3MP which is quite disappointing for a multimedia phone.

Extra features include GPS, FM radio, connectivity using the USB and Bluetooth and a 5MP camera. It can satisfy both the user’s business needs and entertainment desires.

Cons: Phone is bulky and heavy.

Samsung Continuum

You can also be updated with the use of the Ticker.

Cons: It only has 2GB as its internal memory.

The internal memory of 8GB can be expandable up to 32GB. You will be comfortable with the media player even if you are not so familiar of Android OS since it is well organized. The player can be synced with the music coming from your computer and supports a wide variety of audio formats. It is FM radio capable with a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a camera with 8MP. It has the capability to be a 3G hotspot. Already included in the phone are Google applications like the map, the calendar, and email system. Other features include speech to text, speakerphone, GPS and even voice commands.

Cons: Major drawback is the battery life lasting only up to 4 hrs for talk time. You will only be able to pick up radio signals using the wired headset. This headset is sold separately. It has video recording capability of HD 720p.

HTC Surround

Pros: It has a speaker that is sliding out around the sides of the phone. Its audio program has an equalizer giving you options to change settings. The screen has a 480 x 800 resolution that offers amazing viewing experience separate from the audio capabilities. Although it is heavy, it is not bulky nor is it hefty. It does have a 16GB internal memory but there is not indication if it is expandable. Its camera has 5MP with a video recording of HD 720p.

Cons: The touchscreen has a little bit of a lag time. Major drawback for this phone is the 4hr talk time. This is the shortest talk time among the top 10 music phones.

BlackBerry Bold 9780

Pros: The device is fairly small. It features full keyboard making navigation lesser hassle. Although it has a small talk time, its standby time of 528 hrs which is the longest among the top ten phones. It offers GPS and 3G connectivity. It also offers Wi-Fi capabilities.

HTC EVO 3D

This phone is HTC’s version of a 3D phone but in a thin package. The price is about 200USD.

HTC Evo 3D is the first 3D phone that requires no glasses to invade the US. It is quite bigger compared to its predecessor HTC EVO 4G. It features a camera with 5MP, dual-core Qualcomm (1.2Ghz), RAM (1GB), and uses the 2.3 Gingerbread for it’s operating system.

Hitachi WOOO Ketai H001

This is Hitachi’s very own version of a 3D smartphone. As for the price, still not disclose.

What is good about this phone is that its 3D display is amazing. Even a simple and out-dated 2D can be optimized and be viewed in 3D when being displayed. It has the following features: camera (5MP), 3.1’ screen, eWallet, TV tuners, infrared connectivity, Bluetooth, memory is expandable way up to 2GB, among others.

The Nokia N8 has been around since quite some time, and it has been fairly successful for its exceptional camera quality.

At its launch, the highlight of the handset was the 12 MP camera; making it one of the best camera-phones in the market.

Currently, the N8 can record 720p HD videos at 24 fps, and even that appears slightly pixilated. Many of the recent handsets are capable of recording video at 30fps, so there’s nothing new or revolutionary with the update. It is always better to have the feature officially offered by the manufacturer.

Damien Dinning, the man behind Nokia’s N8 camera, Tweeted unofficially that the N8 will shortly receive an update, which will improve some aspects of the camera and also bring 30fps video recording to the handset. Damien said, “There will be an N8 specific update coming which will. You need the code from Anna though”. According to him this new update will also improve image capture quality on the N8, so that seems like an added bonus.

It would be interesting to see how N8 will perform with the Symbian Anna update, given the amount of hype surrounding latter.

hyperX mod is now available as installable application. All you need to do is to download latest version of the application, sign it, reboot your phone and start with taking high quality photos and videos.

Not sure if this would bring smiles on the faces of N8 owners, as camera or the camcorder is usually the least of people’s concerns. Nokia X7 the first phone with Symbian Anna is scheduled to launch in this month.
