Microsoft came up with a new Adaptive Device Concept(exploratory) which is named as Adaptive keyboard that gives you the flexibility to customize the keys depending on the application that you are using. It is equipped with some cool features like display underneath keyboard with programmable keytops and touch display area above the keyboard. The idea is to extend the user interaction on horizontal plane(keyboard) with touch in dynamic context based controls on an input device so that it could increase productivity and delight users. You will be provided with a display as mentioned earlier which is occupied with all the recent applications or programs you had been used on your PC, you can open it from your keyboard with a single touch and as soon as you do that the display will be reformed with the content of the program that you selected and the keys in the keyboard will change according to your context selection. The instructions are very basic things like reading data from memory or sending data to the user display, but they are processed at a rapid speed that we experience the results as the smooth operation of a program.Processor consists of number of cores depending on it’s design(Dual core,Quad core,Hexa core etc).
