Samsung is known for making pretty huge TV’s, and this time they came to CES 2013 with the world’s largest 110-inch large Ultra-HD Television which comes with all the great new features including Samsung Smart Hub, S-recommendation, Advanced Smart Interaction and many more. This Ultra HDTV has been rolling out in China, the Middle East and a few European countries first.
The Samsung ultra-HD TVs, whose picture resolution is four times greater than that of a standard 1080 pixel HD TV display, are also known as “4K” because their horizontal resolution is approximately 4,000 pixels. The massive amount of extra pixels will greatly improve the clarity from any current TV models on the market. These new Ultra HD displays will also upscale the resolution from any content viewed in current broadcast HDTV and Blu-ray discs. It is one of the new generation of supersize ultra HDTVs which promise amazing picture clarity.
Samsung’s 110-inch U-HD TV measures 2.6 meters by 1.8 meters. The TV’s screen will look more like a cinema screen as compared to the traditional home TV and it is unlikely to fit in the average living room. This is the biggest home TV ever made to watch at home with a huge 110in screen. Well, you’ll probably gonna need to rebuild your house to take this TV anyway. The launch of the huge HDTV set reflects global TV makers to move toward ultra HDTVs as manufacturing bigger TVs using OLED proves too expensive.
Samsung giant 110-inch ultra-HD TVs is going on sale for about $150,000 in South Korea while prices in other countries vary.
