The Alight Kitchen concept by Altera Design Studio was recently awarded at the Incheon International Design Competition 2007. The system is designed to minimize waste material and also to make people aware of how much they’re consuming.
The food and beverages packs will be kept inside the cooling unit of the system. On the surface you will have 4 hollow plates and each of them can rotate on its center-axis so you can eat on the either side of the plate.
The Alight Kitchen will be shown at Incheon International Design Fair this December.
