More processing power means more heat release and if you don’t want your quad-core computer to be in flames you need a cooler who knows how to cater and dissipate the excess heat generated while you are busy playing your favorite game.
There is no one better that Asus when it comes to CPU Coolers. The company has again done wonders by developing a new cooler known as Silent Knight II. The cooler utilizes 100% copper for its fins, base and heat pipes and dynamic fan speed control to deliver efficient heat dissipation for the latest quad-core processors.
The system comes with a dynamic fan with a unique PWM function, which alters its RPM based on the temperature of the CPU, this not only makes it more energy-efficient but also promises a silent operation at a mere 25 dBA. Silent Knight II also comes with six curved heat pipes to efficiently transfer heat to the fins, which reduces the average temperature of the CPU to minimum levels.
The voltage regulator shield inside the Asus Silent Knight II cooler directs airflow created by the 9cm LED fan to surrounding Voltage Regulation Modules to ensure better processing and overall system stability. The unique yet efficient design of the device reduces the VRM temperature 10-15°C. The Asus Silent Knight II CPU is compatible with Intel’s Core 2 Extreme series, Pentium D Dual-Core CPU, Pentium 4 LGA775, AMD’s Socket AM2/940/939/754, Athlon 64-FX, Athlon and Sempron processors.
