We have already seen renderings and some technical information about the new smartphone LG G Flex , which is equipped with a large curved display. Now it became known that the device is officially announced. The device is equipped with a curved 6-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
LG G Flex is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with a clock speed of 2.26 GHz and Adreno 330 graphics and has 2 GB of RAM, and built-in storage of 32 gigabytes. The battery capacity is 3500 mAh. By the way, the used battery is also curved, and is one of those which were not so long ago presented.
LG G Flex also has the front and rear camera with 2.1 – and 13-megapixel respectively. Other specifications include an operating system Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, modules LTE-A, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac WiFi, as well as USB 3.0 port. Also note that the side of the case, there are no buttons – on the back there is a special “key”.
According to LG, the gadget was also “self-healing” technology. The rear of the device is covered with a special film that will protect the device from scratches and chips. It is not very clear what was meant. We hope that this will be solved by technology alone.
LG G Flex goes on sale in Korea next month. Information on the cost of the device have been reported yet.
