LG has Unveiled lastest dual-SIM phone LG KS660 which runs on tri-band network. LG KS660 handset allows users to have both their personal and business lines concurrently on a single device without change SIM Cards. LG KS660 features below:
- 3.0-inch WQVGA (240×400) TFT touch-screen display with feedback,
- 5.0-megapixel camera with autofocus, video recording (720×480), flash,
- 50MB internal memory with microSDHC memory slot
- integrated acceletometer.
The LG KS660 will hit Russia, China and few more places in few months. while US and Europe will still need to wait.
but why? i wonder if you can call the other SIM and talk to yourself…

If the phone has 2 processors and it’s allowed by firmware, you can call from one card to another, but not able to speak.
But such models I have met only 3 times during 2 years.
Another question, that bother me personal, what is incide on PCB.
The same “one-time” phone that prcatically not possible to service, or completely opened PCB with ability to get to any item, installed on it?
If you know – please give an answer.
Why!? Because a lot of people both have a personal and a work cell phone. And because you can have sim cards for different countries if you travel a lot.

Yes you are right. This phone has two independent baseband processors running independently. So Logically it is possible to Make a call from one sim to the other.
Since you have one microphone & one speaker connected in the phone, in reality you can\’t do that. SMS etc. are possible.

THE LG KS660 phone will be avilable for sale’s in China and Russia sometime’s END of February 2009 or May be little later date. The price of this Handset will be approximatly £200 to £290.00 POUNDS (STERLING), I am sure the price will not bellow the amount I guess.

I have found the cell phone in Jordan the price is 330 JD (500 $) the warranty is ONE Year only not like sumsung that comes with life time warranty .
It’s fast the camera is good the touchscreen is not so bad too.

I got a chance to try this phone yesterday.
The dual sim is cool, but in general, i didn’t like this cell phone that much. The design looks a bit cheap and the usage isn’t that comfortable either.
