Micromax has added a new Dual SIM smart phone called the Bolt A61 to its Bolt series.

Micromax Bolt A61 smartphone comes with a 4-inch (10.1 cm) WVGA touch screen display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, it supports 16million colors.
OS & Processor
It runs on Android OS of v4.1(Jellybean) version and is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 Processor, which seems decent for an entry level budget smartphone.
Battery
Bolt A61 is powered by Standard Li-on 1500 mAh battery which delivers a very pathetic talktime of upto only 3.5 hours and standby time upto 160 hours
Camera
It packs a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
Internal and External Storage
The device is packed with a 512 MB of internal storage and 256 MB of RAM. The phone memory is expandable to 16 GB via MicroSD card.
Music and Multimedia
The device can play media formats like MP3, WAV, WMA, eAAC+ (audio) and MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV (video).
Connectivity Options
Connectivity options on the Bolt A61 include Bluetooth(2.1+EDR), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Micro-USB, 2G(EDGE/GPRS) and 3G (5.7Mbps) and it comes preloaded with apps such as Hike, Opera, Spuul, Game HUB, Kingsoft Office, whatsApp, Fb and M! Live.
Unfortunately this handset does not come with built in GPS receiver.

Price
No information on pricing yet from Micromax, but it seems to be a budget phone according to the specs it brings to the table and it is expected to be priced under Rs. 5000.
