Nvidia has released their 1st GeForce 9 series graphic chip recently, its known as the GeForce 9600 GT. It adopts a 65nm process & is manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). The GPU has been increased by two times, 64, & memory bus width, 256-bit, compare to 8600 GTS cards which are 32 & 128-bit. The GPU’s performance has increased up to 40% comparing to the 8600 GTS. This new GPU also comes with the Dual-Streaming Decode technology which allows 2 high-definition image decoding processes to be performed at the same time & provides picture in picture (PIP) functionality. So gamers don’t get too worried about the price, it seems to be affordable – priced at between $169 & $189 USD.
