Samsung has announced the world’s 1st 500GB 2.5 inch HDD (5400Rpm) for notebook PCs, the Spinpoint M6. It features a 5400rpm spindle speed, a 8MB cache & 3.0Gbps SATA interface with a Free-Fall-Sensor available as an optional feature. That will be nice to tell you friends that, you have a half terabyte of storage on your notebook. The Spinpoint M6 is currently ship with the manufacturer suggested retail price of $299 usd.
