LG Thrill
This is LG’s U.S. version for the famous LG Optimus 3D. Rumors have it that the price tag will be within the range of 200-250 USD.
LG Thrill will be using 2.2 Froyo (Google Android) and later one will soon be updated to the most famous 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone is quite akin to LG Optimus 3D, the only difference is that it will be using 4G network of AT&T. Here is a snap shot of the cool features of LG Thrill.
It has a 4.3’ screen, dual-core processor (1Ghz), memory worth 16GB, and can gain access to LG 3D Space which is LG’s own marketplace for 3D stuff and applications. As for the 3D effect, well, it is unique. Something that only LG can offer.
Motorola MT810
Motorola MT810 is one cool 3D phone that has a 3D screen that is flip-off. The price for this 3D smartphone has not been released.
This phone offers glasses-free when it comes to 3D display. The following are some of the features of MT810. It is run by a powerful OS – Ophone, with 720p video recording, the screen has a parallax barrier, transparent flip, capacitive touch sensor, camera at 5MP. Bottom line, this is phone is a customized Android. With regard to its 3D performance, there has been not enough information.
Sharp Aquous Phone SH-12C
This is Sharp’s latest addition to it’s collection of 3D phone. The price as to this phone has not been released.
This phone is dubbed as a smartphone with the following features: RAM (512 MB), built-in storage (2GB flash), GPS, Wi-Fi, HDMI, HSDPA, digital TV Tuner, 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, the back camera can go way up to 8 MP plus it runs with Android 2.3 as it’s operating system.
Samsung W960
This is a smartphone that has a button solely dedicated to switch off its 3D feature. The price for this phone is about 190USD.
Now, the fun part what are the phone’s features. Well Samsung W960 has an AMOLED display of about 3.2’, a camera with 3.2MP, uses the TouchWiz 2.0 user interface, the ability to switch 3D with a simple touch of a single button. What makes this phone special is the fact that it is the first phone out on the market that has a 3D screen. Plus it also has the following: TV tuner and auto-focus camera.
Sharp Galapagos 3D
This phone features a 3D screen that measures up to 3.8’. As to the price, it has not been disclosed.
Sharp Galapagos 3D is dubbed as Japan’s latest addition to it’s collection of top of the line phones which was based using Nintendo 3DS. The features of the phone include a processor of 1Ghz, 3D screen of about 3.8’, slide-out keyboard, software button to use to turn on and off 3D at its own will, camera is at 9.6MP, QWERTY One with 8MP, 3D technology used is akin to what is being used in Nintendo 3DS – parallax barrier which gives an effect of making each of the eye to see a different image – sometimes known as stereoscopic display.
HTC EVO 3D
This phone is HTC’s version of a 3D phone but in a thin package. The price is about 200USD.
HTC Evo 3D is the first 3D phone that requires no glasses to invade the US. It is quite bigger compared to its predecessor HTC EVO 4G. It features a camera with 5MP, dual-core Qualcomm (1.2Ghz), RAM (1GB), and uses the 2.3 Gingerbread for it’s operating system.
Hitachi WOOO Ketai H001
This is Hitachi’s very own version of a 3D smartphone. As for the price, still not disclose.
What is good about this phone is that its 3D display is amazing. Even a simple and out-dated 2D can be optimized and be viewed in 3D when being displayed. It has the following features: camera (5MP), 3.1’ screen, eWallet, TV tuners, infrared connectivity, Bluetooth, memory is expandable way up to 2GB, among others.
