This year Acer has launched several low-cost Android-tablet with 7 and 8-inch displays. However, Its been long time we have not heard anything about the new ten-inch tablets by Acer. It seems that the situation will change soon.
The new tablet called the Acer Iconia A3 recently appeared on the website GFXBench and, as it turned out, it is a budget 10-inch handheld device with a processor MediaTek.
Technically, the test results do not provide data on the size of the screen or the processor model. But from the tests show that the tablet uses the operating system Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a display resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, the processor operates at a frequency of up to 497MGts 1209MGts and has a PowerVR SGX 544 graphics.
A similar frequency of the processor is Acer Iconia A1. This gives reason to assume that the new tablet has the same CPU MediaTek MT8125, as well as a $ 179 device with a 7.9-inch screen.
Based on the characteristics of the processor and screen resolution, it is safe to assume that this will be a relatively low-cost tablet, which should go on sale this fall.
