apan’s computer giant NEC unveils world’s first liquid cooled desktop PC “Valuestar VW790? (above) and “Valuestar VW500? (below) in Tokyo on 3 September 2007.
The PC comes packed with a CPU liquid cooling plate and hard drive (HDD) liquid cooling cold plate. It is operational with Intel’s Core 2Duo processor, 22-inch LCD display and Blu-ray/HD-DVD hybrid drive. On the other hand “Valuestar VW500? shares all other features expect having a 19-inch LCD display.
