Nissan recalls over 140,000 of their Altima sedans

The 2007 Nissan Altima sedan, has encountered some serious problem on the air filter. Its 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine has an air filter that can catch fire easily whenever there are something sucked in such as cigarette ashes. There are 4 incidents have been reported to Nissan. Nissan has contact the Altima owners last week. The air filter will be replaced with a presumably less flammable one. Additionally, Nissan also add an air deflector to help prevent a potential accumulation of debris in the filter.
