An image has been doing the rounds of the iPod touch with a Bluetooth icon on the screen. Putting an end to the speculation Apple has confirmed that the iPod Touch does not have Bluetooth and the image is not official.
The lack of Bluetooth precludes the possibility of wireless Bluetooth stereo headsets or microphones that could be used with a future third-party VoIP application.
Maybe we can expect Bluetooth in the next version of iPod Touch, the truth will be unfolded when these units hits the streets and someone tears them apart.
