Expanding the FR series, Onkyo Japan is coming out with the X-N9TX and X-N7TX. Both the models feature a CD and MD deck, tuner and amplifier with 2-channel speakers. The X-N9TX features an IC tip/chip and a vibration-proof tape is pasted inside the chassis to reduce vibrations. The CD supports CD-R/RW and the MD supports Hi-MD as well as ATRAC DSP of 24bit plus AM/FM. The rated output is 19W×2 and the installed capacity is 26W×2. Speaking about the X-N7TX, the basic design of the amplifier section is common, but as the rated output is15W×2 and the installed capacity 20W×2. Pure aluminum volume knob and copper bus plate have been incorporated into the design.
Onkyo’s X-N9TX will be out by September 21st for around 70,000 Yen ($605) and the X-N7Tx will be out by September 14 th for around 50,000 Yen ($432).
