Hitachi has lately unveiled the world’s first Blu-Ray disk (BD) harddisk drive (HDD) camcorder BD cam Wooo in Tokyo on 2 August.
The product is equipped with a 5.3 mega pixel CMOS image censor 30GB HDD along with the world’s first 8cm diameter BD recorder that has a 7.5GB capacity and can record one hour of high definition video images (1,920 x 1,080-pixel).
The product will hit the local market from 30 August and is expected to be available for export from October.
