While the original FonePad, announced back in February, comes with an Intel Atom Z2420 processor speed of 1.2 GHz, the updated FonePad got Intel Atom Z2460 processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz. In addition, the amount of internal storage has doubled, up to 32 GB. Both models will be sold together, at least in Taiwan. «New» FonePad will cost about $ 364, the «old» model – about $ 300. That is, the price for an additional 16 GB of memory and a 400 MHz processor speed is 60 with little dollars. It seems not so little, but, for example, the difference between the 16 and 32 GB versions of the iPhone is $ 100. So far there is no information about when the «new» FonePad will (and will do) sold outside Taiwan.
