Imagine a winter afternoon with snowflakes gliding from the sky and you are reading a book, cozily sitting in front of a fireplace, sipping hot coffee. This has been my long time fantasy, but with a fireplace like this one, I need not wait for the winters!
The exquisite looking item designed by Alex Chernov, is an open fireplace and a dome bake oven. The look is contemporary though it reminds me of the ancient kitchens, where food was cooked over flames of fire on an open hearth, that even kept the house warm. The designer has astonishingly blended the traditional fireplace with the modern and done a good job of it! It has a trendy appearance with a remarkable color combination.
The height of the hearth in the oven is 48? from the floor level and the total height of the steel chimney from the fireplace floor is about 16ft. The oven is heavily insulated with mineral wool and has a custom-made door.
I would love to adorn my kitchen with it, and I guess so would you!
