LG has released two ultra-thin external DVD burners the GSA-E50N and LightScribe-equipped GSA-E50L. They measure 6.14- x 6.5- x 0.84-inches and weigh 0.84-pounds. They are USN-powered and vista compatible and capable of burning DVD+R / RW, DVD-R / RW and DVD-RAM discs at up to 8x speeds. LG’s USB-powered external DVD burners will be available in black or white colors and will cost around €89 ($122), €10 ($14) extra for GSA-E50L when they hit stores.
